IRS rebate check? Sorry, not yours
The Feds dangled a carrot in front of taxpayers in the form of a tax rebate. Some of you might not get that check.
If you owe The Man back taxes, congratulations, at least a little of the economic stimulus from the White House will go toward knocking your IRS bill down by a few hundred dollars.

Not enough money? Sorry.
Didn’t file a tax return? The IRS would like you to take a seat over there and chat about it with one of their troubleshooters.
Not having a Social Security number means no check, while having one that ends with certain two-digit combinations could mean the Treasury needs more time to process it.
Don’t promise “Jackie Two Bullets” his check is in the mail, because yours might not be.
