The return of the coupon

If gas prices have left you wondering how the heck you might afford luxuries like, I don’t know, food, you may want to start paying attention to coupons again.

Need to save a few bucks so you can continue paying tribute to the oil industry and the sheiks in the Middle East? Don’t worry, because Jonathan Lieberman, the CEO of DealLocker has some tips for you:

1)  Create a grocery list and search for coupons for each item on your list

2)  Focus on the item rather than the brand

3)  Create an envelope of coupons and put them in your car for those unexpected stops at the market that pop up while running errands

4)  Use online sites such as Amazon to search for specific items and use www.freeshippingon.com to get free shipping on items ordered

5)  When buying online, search coupon sites such as www.deallocker.com for extra savings (has both online and printable coupons for use)

6)  Plan your entire vacation using coupons for popular hotels, airlines and restaurants

7)  Save big during seasonal buying times such as back-to-school, Father’s Day and other major holidays

8)   Do your homework and search for items both online and in papers; double-up when possible, and always save big time!

9)  Keep three envelopes at the ready: one with your grocery list and corresponding coupons, one with coupons for misc. items, and one for restaurants to use when you want a treat using all the money you saved!

10)  Pick one day a week to scour coupons and the task is less overwhelming, and can actually be fun when you see how much you’re saving!

Zero. Zilch. None. No commento.

No. No, you can't... STOP. Please don't go away. Please? No one's ever stuck with me for so long before. And if you leave... if you leave... I just, I remember things better with you. - Dory
